PhD submitted!

Yesterday, the deed was one: I finally submitted my PhD! The manuscript is titled ‘Practicing the Plastic Brain: valuing popular neuroscience across the lifespan’.

I have worked on it for six years and one month, and I’m quite happy with the result. Reflections on the plastic brain will never be the same again!

And now… we wait.

With a background in practical philosophy, Science & Technology Studies, and social design, I am an advocate for interdisciplinarity. As a translator I like to cross borders and dive into disciplines, to pirate concepts, methods and approaches. I teach and study ethics of artistic research and aesthetics of societal engagement practices: the ways by which art and design become relevant and valuable in different societal contexts. My aim is to cultivate an ethical sensibility and responsive attitude among artists, designers, scientists and engineers. Read more.
