Upcoming talk at Duisburg University: Working Well and the Plastic Brain

My dear friend and colleague Sarah Weingartz invited me as guest lecturer for her sociology of technology-class at Duisburg University (Germany). Giving guest-lectures at Universities abroad might be the one pleasant feature of online working!

I talked with the students about what it means to work well nowadays, and how these ideas of work ethics changed throughout history due to the influence of technology. See for more information (in German) on the website of Sarah Weingartz.

With a background in practical philosophy, Science & Technology Studies, and social design, I am an advocate for interdisciplinarity. As a translator I like to cross borders and dive into disciplines, to pirate concepts, methods and approaches. I teach and study ethics of artistic research and aesthetics of societal engagement practices: the ways by which art and design become relevant and valuable in different societal contexts.
