Talk at Neurocultures group at UvA
The nice people from the Neuroaesthetics and Neurocultures group (part of the Amsterdam School of Cultural Analysis) at University of Amsterdam invited me, together with partner in crime Felix Schirmann, to talk about the Moral Brain. We will present at December 11th, at the Media Studies faculty. Please email if you’d like to join!
BTW: Felix just succesfully defended his dissertation ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Brain: Theory and History of the Neuroscience of Morality’. What I’ve read, it’s a very detailed and needed study which nicely shows how morality became linked to the brain in the past 100 years, and how much (conceptual) labor was performed in order to make morality accessible for neuroscientists.
